The Philmont Staff Association has been uniting the Philmont Staff- Past, Present, and Future since 1973. The PSA was originally formed to bring fellowship even beyond the gates of Philmont Scout Ranch, it has ensured that there is always opportunity to reconnect with friends from long ago. Amount raised: 2016-2020 We All Made It! As of December 31, 2020 we officially reached our $1.5 million dollar goal for the Building HOmE Capital Campaign!
The PSA Office is home to three full time staffers and a great place to meet and reconnect with fellow PSA Members.
How we raised money: Special Fundraising, Ry & Rod Taylor Concert
Amount raised: 2018-2020 Philmont Fire Recovery, raised $435,645 dollars total.
We have had over 900 donors for this cause so far. Donations continued to come for this cause in 2020.
How we raised money: Annual Fund, Donations
Amount raised: 2012-2014 Campaign4Philmont, raised $1.4M dollars total.
Facilities upgrade at the Philmont Training Center: $500,000
Period-Appropriate Backcountry Furnishings: $200,000
Replacement of Advisor’s Meeting Facility: $100,000
Scholarship support for seasonal staff: $500,000
In this third campaign, larger than the first two combined, the scope has been broadened to meet Ranch needs in a variety of four venues- each one important to Philmont’s future.

Amount raised: 2004-2008 Silver Staff Activity Center, raised $1.1 million dollars total.
The Silver Sage Staff Activities Center is a place for all staff to relax, recharge, and celebrate with their fellow coworkers.
How we raised money: Annual Fund, Donations
Amount raised: 1998-1999 Staff Dining Hall, raised $300,000 dollars in pledges in just six months.
Since the summer of 1999 the PSA staff dining hall has served close to a million meals.
